I think that article must have been written by a teenager. Certainly not by a traveler.

You got a point there, Henry. I've been to some of those places, and I sure don't feel the way the writer did about them.

I've been to 11 of them - all but Prague and the Great Wall (a must see for me, someday) and other than Las Vegas I wouldn't put any of them on that list. Of course, when we went to Stonehenge it wasn't roped off, and we were able to climb to the top of the Leaning Tower, which helped.

Anyway, anyone who could call the Grand Canyon overrated is either jaded beyond salvation or a moron, or quite possibly both.

The guy's a total dickhead. I even like Vegas; there's always something to see.

A real tourist trap and waste of money is the Polynesian Cultural Center in Hawaii. It not only wastes money, it wastes your whole day if you do by bus.
